• Visit the NEW Eisenhower Memorial. Designed by the world-renowned architect Frank Gehry, the memorial encapsulates Eisenhower’s legacy in a four-acre urban park at the base of Capitol Hill.  Gehry’s unique vision is a grand new civic space in the heart of the nation’s capital.  The memorial features a one-of-a-kind stainless steel tapestry depicting beaches of D-Day, heroic-sized bronze sculptures, and stone bas reliefs.
• Stop at The National World War I Memorial, a national memorial commemorating the service rendered by members of the United States Armed Forces in World War I. The design, “A Soldier's Journey”, shows the story of a soldier who leaves his family, sees combat and the loss of comrades, and returns to his family after receiving medical care.
• Photo Stop at the White House. The White House is the official residence and workplace of the president of the United States. It is located at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW in Washington, D.C., and has been the residence of every U.S. president since John Adams in 1800.
• Embark on a Lafayette Park Tour of Scandal and be delighted by intense tales of scandals, assassinations, and spies--and history and architecture--in America's most historic locale.
• Visit the White House Visitor’s Center where guests can explore an interactive touchscreen tour of the White House, view over 90 artifacts from the White House collection, shop at the White House Historical Association retail store, and view the 14-minute film, "White House: Reflections From Within."
• Enjoy a Welcome Drink & Sampler Platters at a local smokehouse, one of the hottest restaurants in the District, a buzzy watering hole for smoked fish, seafood, local spirits, and entertainment with rooftop and patio dining.

• Your Colonial Guide will conclude the tour at tonight’s included dinner in a modern eatery serving Chesapeake-style seafood in a renovated warehouse over 200-years old and located in the heart of Alexandria’s waterfront district.
• Board your Water Taxi back to the National Harbor.  Relax, digest, and admire the gorgeous views of the city illuminated at night as you smoothly sail down the Potomac River, back to your luxury accommodation.
• Once back to the hotel, indulge with a decadent Dessert and Irish Coffee.

• Enjoy another Wine Tasting Tour as well! Depart for a winery and farm, and enjoy a Wine or Beer Tasting! Locally owned and operated, with over 20 acres of land, they have a rustic wine tasting room and an old pub style brewery with large fireplaces. Both their Wine Maker and Brew Master are award winning craftsmen who are excited to share their latest creations with you.
• Depart for dinner included  this evening. Tucked away in the peaceful, historic countryside of Northern Virginia, this beautiful 19th Century Manor House location is a magnificent ending to a wonderful day of wine.
• Return to the National Harbor where the remainder of your evening is free to enjoy as you please and retire to your hotel room at your leisure. (Meals: B, L, D)

• Embark on a Driving Tour through The Shaw Neighborhood, named after Robert Gould Shaw who was the white commander of the famed black 54th Massachusetts Regiment.
• See the Thurgood Marshall Center, located in the historic Twelfth Street YMCA building, the former home of the first full-service YMCA for African Americans in the nation. It was designed by one of the nation's first African American architects, W. Sidney Pittman, son-in-law of Booker T. Washington and was built largely by African American artisans.
• See Howard University, one of the most prestigious, historically black universities in the country.
• Drive by Lincoln Theatre. This theatre has just completed renovations that restored it to the magnificent facility originally known as “Black Broadway” between 1920 and 1950.
• Drive by Bohemian Caverns. In 1926 a little jazz club was opened in the basement of a drugstore located at 11th and U St. called Club Caverns.
• Explore the African American Civil War Museum. In January 1999, the Civil War Memorial Museum opened to the public. Using photographs, documents, and state of the art audio visual equipment, the museum helps visitors understand the African American's heroic and largely unknown struggle for freedom. The African American Civil War Museum honors and examines the African American's heroic struggle for freedom and civil rights.
• Visit the African American Civil War Memorial. At the center of a granite-paved plaza encircled on three sides by the Wall of Honor is the Spirit of Freedom sculpture.
• Snag a Dog at Ben’s Chili Bowl. Opened on August 22, 1958, Ben’s Chili Bowl began with owners Virginia and Ben Ali and is a celebration of DC’s African American history, culture, and character.  It’s a celebration of our city, and U Street’s resilience. DC’s residents have a long history of bouncing back from hard times. The Black community is front and center in this story and Ben’s is a perfect case study – a study in our quest of freedom and it’s ongoing re-definition.  Loved by the locals and visited by many celebrities, guests will delight in their visit to this honored location.
