Sample Itinerary: Day 1 - Reginald F. Lewis Museum & Seafood Dinner
- Arrive in Baltimore, MD, and visit the Reginald F. Lewis Museum. The 82,000 square foot facility accommodates over 13,000 square feet of permanent and temporary exhibition space, a two-story theater, museum gift shop, classrooms, meeting rooms, an outdoor terrace, and reception areas. The Lewis, which provides dynamic educational programs for both children and adults, is especially proud of its partnership with the Maryland State Department of Education.
- Enjoy dinner included this evening at a seafood restaurant and experience “Crabology”. A special Blue Margarita is included! Proceeds support the heritage and conservation of Chesapeake Bay.

- Enjoy breakfast included at the hotel prior to departing with your GUIDE on a Black History Tour of Baltimore.
- Enjoy lunch included today at a southern style restaurant, located in the Federal Hill area of Baltimore, serving down home comfort food for your soul.
- Visit the National Great Blacks in Wax Museum. During your tour, enjoy visits by 1st person interpreters of Harriet Tubman and Henry “Box” Brown.
- Arrive at the Frederick Douglass-Isaac Myers Maritime Park Museum, a Living Classrooms Foundation campus and national heritage site. It celebrates the contributions of African Americans in the development of Baltimore’s maritime industry, focusing on the saga of renowned author Frederick Douglass’ life as an enslaved child and young man, as well as on the life of Isaac Myers, a free born African American who became a national leader.
- Explore the Baltimore Civil War Museum. The 1849 train station -- one of the oldest in the country -- houses a permanent collection telling of Baltimore during the Civil War and also addresses Maryland's railroad history and the building's role in the Underground Railroad.
- Visit the Orchard Street Church, constructed in 1882, the Orchard Street United Methodist Church is one of the oldest standing structures built by a Black congregation in Baltimore. The church was established by Trueman Pratt, a free Black man who was born into slavery in Anne Arundel County, came to Baltimore, and began organizing prayer meetings at his home on Pierce Street in 1825.
- Enjoy free time and dinner on your own while exploring the Baltimore Inner Harbor offering a plethora of restaurants. Where Baltimore’s shipbuilding and steel mills once stood, is now an exciting destination tourists and locals alike. There are restaurants, museums, shows, water taxis, paddle boats, and cruises on the bay. There are also great photo opportunities!

- Sail away on a Narrated Sightseeing Cruise of the Harbor onboard a fun, casual vessel with bench-style seating offering the best views of the Baltimore Inner Harbor and surrounding waterways. Relax, unwind, and enjoy!
