• This afternoon, embark on a Guided Tour of Williamsburg and learn how the area featured prominently in the Virginia Colony’s road to the revolution. This tour is a living microcosm of the historic world of the Colonies during the time of the American Revolution.
• Afterwards, discover Mead and Honey at Silver Hand Meadery. Mead is one of the most historic fermented drinks found on Earth. It has the creativity of craft beer and the elegance of wine, but is in a category all its own. Mead is created by the fermentation of sugars found in honey, with additional herbs, spices, and fruits added to create unique flavors.
• For dinner included this evening, dine on the very best local seafood. You’ll sample delicacies which would’ve been enjoyed by the colonists including fresh local oysters, crab cakes, and more, at a restaurant voted by locals as “Best in Seafood” and “Best Crabcake” year after year.

• Explore Yorktown, one of the eight original shires formed in colonial Virginia in 1682, and enjoy lunch on own in downtown Yorktown before departing for Richmond, VA.

  • Experience a reenactment of Patrick Henry’s famous, “Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death” speech at St. John’s Church.

• Tonight, enjoy dinner included at Richmond's landmark for intimate fine dining. The restaurant was built in 1760 on a grant of land from George II of England, by a patent dated 1743. The property is furnished in authentic antiques. Among its famous guests were George Washington, the Marquis de LaFayette, Patrick Henry, Thomas Jefferson, Robert E. Lee, U.S. Grant, James Whitcomb Riley and scores of others. In fact, as the horse change and rest stop for the Petersburg Coach, everyone who traveled South of Richmond, from the Revolution until late in the 19th century, stopped here, if only for rest & refreshment.

• Explore Tuckahoe Plantation, the boyhood home of Thomas Jefferson and a beautiful historic landmark with gardens and a historically intact Main House and outer buildings built in 1733.

• Tour the Rising Sun Tavern Museum. While not serving food or drink since 1827, the Charles Washington built residence (in 1760), became a tavern in 1792. Today, it is a museum where guests are welcomed as if they have just stepped off a stagecoach into 18th-century life.
• Enjoy lunch on own while exploring in Downtown Fredericksburg.
• Tour the Mary Washington House, a historic home purchased by George Washington in 1772 for his mother, Maryment.
• Visit Ferry Farm, where young George Washington spent his formative years and became an extraordinary man after moving to the area in 1738 at the age of 6. The Washingtons called this place the Home Farm but it later became known as Ferry Farm because people crossed the Rappahannock River on a ferry from the farm to the town of Fredericksburg.
• Visit Kenmore, the home of Betty Washington Lewis (George Washington’s sister) who, during the Revolutionary War, loaned money to the state of Virginia to build and support a gun factory.
• Feast this evening at a classic Tavern, serving colonial fare and located where, in December 1862, a major battle was fought. The restaurant houses artifacts & history within its walls.

• Be transported back in time and explore George Washington's Mount Vernon, the estate of our 1st US President, Commander of the Constitutional Army, and the President of The Constitutional Convention. While visiting, we’ll pay respects and lay a wreath at his gravesite located on the property where he is entombed.
  • Visit Washington’s Distillery and Grist Mill located at Mount Vernon.
• This evening, dine on authentic colonial-style fare with dinner included at a historic tavern, serving the people delicious fare since 1770.

• Tour George Washington’s Masonic Temple & National Memorial offering one of the finest views of the Nation’s Capital, plus an extraordinary collection of Colonial-era treasures. The Masonic Memorial sits on the site originally proposed for the national capitol building.
