• The remainder of your day is free to explore the area, take advantage of the hotel’s amenities, have dinner on your own along the boardwalk, shop at the unique boutiques and stroll along the beautiful beach.

• Enjoy breakfast included at the hotel this morning.
• Depart for a Tram Tour of the Norfolk Botanical Gardens and explore one of the largest collections of azaleas, camellias, and rhododendrons on the East Coast. See the 155-acre garden with canal boats, trackless train tours, 12 miles of pathways, and special theme gardens.
• Enjoy lunch on your own at either the MacArthur Center or Waterside Market.
• Tour Nauticus, the National Maritime Center, an exciting science & technology center exploring the power of the sea.  This high-tech, virtual reality “museum” allows visitors to explore the rich life of the ocean realm, human uses of the sea through shipping, and the role the port of Hampton Roads has played in world maritime affairs.
• While at Nauticus, see the Battleship USS Wisconsin, one of the largest Battleships ever built. This mighty ship was used during the Korean Conflict and the Gulf War.
• Take a step back in time with a visit to the MacArthur Memorial Museum, both a museum and research center, dedicated to preserving and presenting the story of the life of General of the Army Douglas MacArthur. The Memorial also pays tribute to the millions of men and women who served with General MacArthur in World War I, World War II, and the Korean War.
• Return to your hotel for free time along the boardwalk this evening and dinner on your own.

• Tour the Military Aviation Museum, to see one of the largest collections of flying WWII military aircraft in the world & hear stories of contributions made by the men and women of aviation to our country.
• Arrive for boarding for the Spirit of Norfolk at Otter Berth Dock. Enjoy a cruise aboard the vibrant Spirit ship and delight in the spectacular skyline views, bountiful buffet dining, with exceptional service, plus lively and engaging entertainment. Be sure to check out the amazing view from the observation deck!
• Depart to experience Hullabaloo, the perfect opportunity to shake hands with an active duty member of armed forces and take a selfie with a highland dancer.
• Experience The International Tattoo from your VIP Premium seats. This annual event brings military bands from around the world to one spot to perform a spectacular show of music, majesty, and might! With marching bands, massed pipes and drums, drill teams, Scottish dancers, choirs, and more, this is the largest tattoo event of its kind in the US.
• Return to your hotel for the rest of your evening and enjoy the boardwalk nightlife or just relax on the beach.

• Enjoy an included breakfast at the hotel this morning prior to checking out.
• Depart for home. If you’re heading north, we recommend stopping to explore the National Museum of the Marine Corps at Quantico.
