Day One:
  • Arrive in Detroit, Michigan, for 2 nights in an Accent Network Partner Hotel.
  • Your afternoon and evening (pending arrival time) are free to enjoy at your leisure or customize as desired to suit the needs of your group.
 
Day Two:
  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel this morning.
  • Meet your Guide at the hotel and depart on a “Felonies and Misdemeanors, The Detroit Cops and Mobsters Tour”. Some of the world’s most notorious criminals, mobsters, and gangsters bamboozled their way through Detroit. Meanwhile some of history’s most infamous, brilliant, or honorable policemen tried to stop them. On our Felonies and Misdemeanors, The Detroit Cops and Mobsters Tour, escape into the city’s criminal underworld as we investigate stories about Jimmy Hoffa, prohibition, The Purple Gang, “Joe the Hood”, The Gotham Hotel, and the Detroit Mob families. You’ll hear the story of "La Mano Nera" or black hand extortionists, in Detroit at the turn of the century. We’ll explore the illegal liquor war of the 1910’s. We’ll visit an iconic bar where we’ll learn about the police chief who resigned from his appointment as a judge to bring “civility back to the police”. We will traverse the city and learn the history of mobster owned speakeasies and some of their most memorable raids. From riots to rolling men into the river, from African American gambling rackets to Italian mobsters fixing professional football games, from hookers, madams, and street corner pimps, to cops, mounted police, and mayors of all types: welcome to the criminal side.
  • Enjoy lunch at a local group friendly restaurant (TBD).
  • Return to the hotel to rest and freshen up before dinner included at a local favorite hotspot.
  • Arrive at Fisher Theater to enjoy a live performance, (TBD pending schedule during dates of travel). Remodeled as a live theatre in 1961 under management of the Nederlander Theatrical Corporation, the Fisher is now adorned with marble, Indian rosewood and walnut paneling, and crystal and bronze decorative work. The original 3,500 seats were scaled down to 2,089 to ensure an intimate atmosphere and optimal sightlines.
  • Return to your hotel to rest and relax.
 
Day Three:
  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel this morning prior to checking out and departing for Cleveland, OH.
  • Arrive to explore the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, an iconic music-minded museum loaded with pop-culture memorabilia, artifacts, instruments & a jukebox.
  • Enjoy lunch included at the All-Access Café before departing for Sugarcreek, OH.
  • Visit 2 Wineries/Distilleries/Breweries this afternoon in Sugarcreek. The region is home to several very popular vineyards, distilleries, and breweries, such as: Breitenbach Wine Cellars, Baltic Mill Winery, Swiss Heritage Winery, Silver Moon Winery, Broad Run Cheese, The Cider Press, Millersburg Brewing, and Sunny Slope Winery.
  • It’s “All You Can Eat” dinner included this evening at the Dutch Valley Restaurant, located in the gateway to Ohio's Amish Country. Known for Roasted and Pan-fried chicken, real mashed potatoes, homemade breads, pies, and cookies. There’s even an Amish Bakery onsite to get some goodies to go!
  • Walk to Ohio Star Theater, an intimate, family-friendly venue showcasing musical comedies, concerts, & special events. Enjoy a show!  Performance schedule TBD pending dates of travel.
  • After the show, depart on foot to the Carlisle Inn to check-in, rest, and relax for the night.

 
Day Four:
  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel this morning prior to checking out and departing for Cincinnatti, OH.
  • Arrive for lunch included at the Hofbrauhaus Bier Garden, modeled after the legendary 400+ year-old Hofbräuhaus in Munich, Germany! Guests are now able to enjoy many of the traditions from Germany that have made Hofbräuhaus famous. From the traditional decorated rooms in the building to the beer that is brewed on-site, and of course the excellent German fare, Hofbräuhaus Newport is a memorable experience for all. Not only does Hofbräuhaus Newport offer amazing German fare, but they also offer traditional American food. Come for the food but stay for the beer brewed on site.
  • Embark on a Newport Gangster Tour. Experience the streets where the mob made their fortunes, gamblers met their demise, and "ladies of the night" earned their reputations. Join our gangster guides for a lively, high-energy tour of Newport, KY's historic streets. The tour begins outside an illicit casino, where you'll learn how this small town gave rise to the modern gaming industry. The Newport Gangster Tour is among the most sought-after tours in greater Cincinnati and a must-do for history buffs and organized crime enthusiasts alike.

  • Dinner is included this evening at a famous locale, popular with the locals for its fresh regional fare.

Day Five:
  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel this morning.
  • Explore the Creation Museum and get ready to experience Biblical history come to life! This one-of-a-kind museum in Williamstown, KY, explores creation science with stunning exhibits, dinosaur bones, botanical gardens, a planetarium, and more. The museum features state-of-the-art exhibits taking you on a walk-through Biblical history with scenes from the Garden of Eden, God's creation, Noah's ark, and much more though realistic dioramas, stunning video displays, and more. It's a unique adventure inspiring you to think more deeply about God's creation.
    • Enjoy lunch on your own while visiting the museum.
  • Return to the hotel to rest and freshen up before departing for dinner.
  • Arrive for boarding at BB Riverboats, one of the area’s top attractions! Sail away on your dinner cruise on the beautiful Ohio River. Both BB vessels are authentic riverboats and strictly adhere to the idea that “everything is better on the river!"
  • Return to rest at your hotel this evening.

 
Day Six:
  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel this morning.
  • You’ll be blown away spending the day visiting the Ark Encounter, a one-of-a-kind museum in Petersburg, KY, featuring a larger-than-life, full-size replica of Noah's Ark where visitors can learn all the details of the ark, life on the ark, animals on the ark, and more. They've taken a strict commitment to historical accuracy and artistic excellence in building the largest timber-frame structure in the world, built in part by skilled Amish craftsmen. Ark Encounter is the only exhibit of its kind and will inspire you to think differently about the Biblical account of Noah's ark and the flood.
    • Enjoy lunch on your own while touring the museum.
  • Enjoy a delightful dinner included at Emzara’s Kitchen, located next door to the Ark Encounter Museum. The two-story themed Emzara's Buffet is an award-winning buffet-style restaurant with a variety of delicious entrees, salads, and desserts.
  • Depart and return to your hotel for the night.

 
Day Seven:
  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel this morning prior to checking out and departing for home with a camera roll of photos you’ll cherish forever.
