Day One - Welcome to Medora!
- Arrive in Medora, the gateway to Theodore Roosevelt National Park.
- Explore downtown Medora and visit historic locations such as Joe Ferris Store and the Von Hoffman House.
- Enjoy the Pitchfork Steak Fondue, a unique Western dining experience.
- End the evening with the Medora Musical at the Burning Hills Amphitheater prior to checking in at Rough Riders Hotel.
Day Two - Theodore Roosevelt National Park & Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library
- After breakfast at the hotel, depart to explore Theodore Roosevelt National Park (South Unit). Drive the 36-mile scenic loop and hike Wind Canyon Trail and Buck Hill Overlook for breathtaking views.
- This afternoon, visit the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library. Savor the flavors of the Badlands, with a curated lunch while visiting.
- Afterwards, relax in Medora and visit the Chateau de Mores State Historic Site.
- A delightful dinner awaits at the Historic Little Mo Dining Room before experiencing an evening of timeless Great American Songbook classics.
Day Three - Yellowstone National Park
- Pick up a breakfast-to-go as you check-out early and depart this morning for Yellowstone National Park.
- Grab lunch to go in Miles City, MT, at the Black Iron Grill.
- Enjoy dinner in Livingstone, MT, at Neptune Taphouse prior to checking in to your accommodation in North Yellowstone or Gardiner, MT.
Day Four - Explore Yellowstone National Park
- Start your day with breakfast at the Ridgeline Hotel.
- Experience Roosevelt Arch, Old Faithful, and Upper Geyser Basin.
- Lunch at Old Faithful Lodge
- Grand Prismatic Spring & Midway Geyser Basin
- Dinner in Gardiner, MT, at a popular local favorite restaurant before returning to your hotel to rest and relax for the evening.
Day Five - Cody, Devils Tower, and Deadwood, SD
- After breakfast, journey to Cody, WY. Visit the Buffalo Bill Center of the West. Explore Old Trail Town, an authentic Western village. Enjoy a sack lunch from The Cody Cattle Company.
- Participate in a 1.3-mile hike around the base of Devils Tower National Monument.
- Continue to Deadwood, SD, to walk the historic Main Street, visit Saloon No. 10, explore Mount Moriah Cemetery where the graves of Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane are laid to rest.
- Dine this evening at a classic: The Deadwood Grille. Afterwards, check-in to your local Deadwood accommodations.
Day Six - Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, & Wind Cave National
- Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before checking out this morning.
- Explore Wind Cave National Park where you'll embark on a Guided Cave Tour to see rare boxwork formations as well as an exciting drive through wildlife-rich prairies to see the regions bison, prairie dogs, and elk - just to name a few.
- A tasting included lunch at Custer State Park and wildlife viewing loop keeps the nature parade up close.
- Enjoy a delightful dinner this evening in Keystone at the Ruby House Restaurant before departing for Mount Rushmore National Memorial to view the lighting ceremony.
- Check-in and rest for the night in Deadwood.
Day Seven - Departure
- Enjoy a final breakfast at the hotel before checking out this morning.
- Depending on your schedule today, your group may enjoy visiting downtown Rapid City's Presidential Statues, or consider allowing time for exploring The Journey Museum or the exciting Dinosaur Park!
