• Arrive to the area and enjoy lunch on own at Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, stocked full of shopping and foodie delights.
• Tour the Star Spangled Flag House, formerly the Flag House & Star-Spangled Banner Museum, located in the Jonestown/Old Town and Little Italy neighborhoods of eastern downtown Baltimore,  MD.  The museum houses artifacts, exhibits & tours in the house where the flag that inspired the national anthem was sewn.
• Visit the Maryland Historical Society Museum whose collections include over 2,000 paintings and miniatures including portraits of heroes from the Revolutionary War of 1812.
• Enjoy dinner included at a local favorite restaurant prior to checking in at the luxurious, Baltimore Renaissance Harborplace Hotel Inner Harbor.*

• Enjoy breakfast at the hotel this morning before embarking on an exciting day of exploration!
• Watch a flag raising ceremony at Ft. McHenry.
• Explore the Smithsonian Museum of American History to see the actual flag that flew over Ft. McHenry in 1814 and the one that inspired Francis Scott Key to write what is now our National Anthem.
• Visit the National Archives to see our original Declaration of Independence on display.
• Dinner is included this evening at a DC local favorite establishment.
• Enjoy a Guided Illuminated Monument Tour of Washington, DC before returning to your hotel.

• Enjoy breakfast at the hotel this morning.
• Board and tour the USS Constellation who was dispatched in 1812 to Hampton Roads under the command of Captain Charles Stewart with the advent of war with England approaching.
• Visit Frederick, MD Visitor Center where you will be “greeted” by Francis Scott Key among the 2,200 square-feet of interpretive exhibits. Learn about Frederick County’s past and present through the award-winning film, “A Turn of the Wheel”.
• Tour the Roger Brooke Taney House, one of the remaining links to Francis Scott Key where Key’s sister lived with her husband.
• Visit All Saints’ Episcopal Church, founded in 1742 and has had many noteworthy parishioners over the years, including Francis Scott Key. The current neo-gothic structure is the parish’s third church, designed by noted 19th century architect Richard Upjohn and completed in 1855.
• Tour Trinity Chapel with its graceful 1807 steeple, the oldest of the “clustered spires,” and houses the town clock. Buried beneath the floor of the bell tower is Rev. Frederick Lewis Henop, the pastor who baptized Francis Scott Key.
• Visit Mount Olivet Cemetery, Francis Scott Key’s final resting place. Just inside the front gate of the cemetery, stands an impressive monument dedicated on August 9, 1898 to pay lasting tribute to the author of our country’s National Anthem.
• Tour the Museum of Frederick County History, an 1820's Federal-style mansion that maintains a unique collection of furnishings, art and memorabilia from Frederick's past.
• Dinner is included at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel for the evening.

• Visit George Washington’s Mount Vernon.  This tour is an overview of General Washington’s accomplishments, character, and vision through the estate he created here at Mount Vernon. It culminates in a private wreath laying at General Washington’s Tomb.  Despite having little experience in commanding large, conventional military forces, Washington’s strong leadership presence and fortitude held the American military together long enough to secure victory at Yorktown and independence for his new nation.
• Enjoy lunch on own at Mount Vernon prior to departing for home.
