The region of Cairns ranks as the 4th most popular destination for international travelers in Australia. The city serves as a gateway point for those visiting the Great Barrier Reef. Cairns is also surrounded by rainforest, including the world’s oldest, the Daintree Rainforest, which lies just two hours north.
