Sample Itinerary:
Day 1 - Fort McHenry & the National Aquarium 
  • Tour Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine. The valiant defense of the fort during the Battle of Baltimore on September 13-14, 1814, inspired Francis Scott Key to write the words that became the U.S. national anthem. The fort’s history holds many other stories too, from the Civil War to WWII.
  • Enjoy lunch at Phillips Seafood. Few family-owned food and restaurant companies have been around for 100 years and achieved the levels of success of Phillips Seafood. From their humble beginnings on the Chesapeake Bay, to the opening of their first restaurant in 1956, to their overseas expansion into sourcing high-quality crab meat, the Phillips family has become a powerful force on the global seafood market.
  • Visit the National Aquarium. Continue to learn about the environment that supports the local cuisine. The National Aquarium is situated in the heart of Baltimore’s famous Inner Harbor, just 35 miles from Washington DC and a simple 10-minute drive from I-95. Learn about animals from all over our blue planet- from the depths of the ocean to the canopy of the rain forest- and discover the connection they all share with water.
  • Check-in to your local hotel to refresh for the evening.
  • Enjoy dinner at Guinness Brewery. Join us for a group tour of the Baltimore Experimental Brewery where a charismatic guides will teach you all about the history of Guinness and our We look forward to pouring you a pint, serving you some food and telling you, our stories.
  • Return to the hotel for the night.
  Day 2 - York

  • Visit the Northern Central Railway of York- At the Northern Central Railway, their engines will transport you and your group through the scenic countryside of southern York County. Excursions range from 45 minutes to 2 ½ hours where you can meet President Lincoln, experience a real-life Wild West raid, learn about the Underground Railroad, and more! Experience special seasonal events like the hugely popular Tannenbaum Train and the Fall Foliage Excursions.
  • Have lunch at Skillet2Plate Soul Bistro, a family-owned and operated Southern-style restaurant located in the WeCo district of downtown With family being the basis of everything the Days family does guests who visit Skillet2Plate will also be treated like family. Whether you enjoy traditional soul foods such as chicken, collard greens, cornbread, and macaroni and cheese or you are vegetarian or vegan the S2P has something for everyone to nourish their soul.
  • Visit the York County History Center. The York County History Center inspires the exploration of the history, people, and culture of our county, state, and nation. It utilizes collections, historic sites, and museums to help tell the American story and encompasses artifacts highlighting nearly 300 years of York’s impressive history. Stories of wilderness, settlement, immigration, and innovation are just some of what is shared on guided tours.

  Day 3 - National Watch & Clock Museum, Turkey Hill Experience, Kitchen Kettle Village, & The Li'l Country Store & Miniature Horse Farm
  • Enjoy breakfast at The Yorktowne Hotel, and head east to Lancaster County, PA.
  • Visit the National Watch & Clock Museum. Experience the treasures of time! From the moment you enter the marble entranceway and beautiful rotunda, you will see why thousands of visitors from around the world have come to experience North America’s largest collection of timekeeping artifacts. Visitors can also explore hands-on discovery timekeeping components and examine watch-making machinery.
  • Next up is the Turkey Hill Experience. See how Turkey Hill ice cream is made, sit in a milk truck, milk mechanical cows, and learn about the people and culture of Turkey Hill Dairy. Create your own virtual ice cream flavor, ice cream package and a commercial. Then visit the Turkey Hill Taste Lab and bring your virtual ice cream creation to life as you make your OWN pint of ice cream! Of course, there are plenty of unlimited free samples of ice cream and iced tea products, too.
  • Visit the Kitchen Kettle Village. Bring the best of Pennsylvania Dutch Country to your group with more than 40 specialty shops and restaurants with plenty of hand-on activities. Two full-size restaurants offer lunch-on-your-own and pre-booked group options for meals, along with a variety of snack and foodie shops. Watch our local farm women “put up” more than 90 varieties of jams and relishes at Lancaster’s original Canning Kitchen.
  • Shop at The Li’l Country Store & Miniature Horse Farm- If you’re a fan of country goods, this shop offers everything from Amish crafts to baked and canned goods as well as homemade root beer. Besides selling quality products, they welcome you to visit our miniature horse farm. While there, you can take advantage of their petting zoo, enjoy saddle, and cart rides, and participate in their horse workshops.
