Day One:

  • Enjoy lunch on own at the Reagan Building/International Trade Center, DC’s favorite food court.
  • Experience a Russian Christmas at Hillwood Estate, Museum, and Gardens. The mansion of former cereal heiress, Marjorie Merriweather Post, features one of the most comprehensive collections of 18th and 19th century Russian imperial art outside of Russia.
  • Enjoy even more holiday glitter at Enchant, The Great Search; the world’s largest Christmas light Maze & Market, located at the elaborately decorated Nationals Park and featuring a luminescent land of larger-than-life sculptures as snow gently falls around you.
  • Enjoy dinner on own while exploring the winter wonderland of Enchant.
  • Bring a little twinkle into your holidays at Watkins Park Holiday Lights. This drive-through event with more than 2.5 million lights, is sure to get everyone in the holiday spirit!

  • Enjoy lunch on own at the Marketplace.
  • Explore the National Portrait Gallery.
  • Visit the Washington National Cathedral, awe inspiring and beautifully decorated for Christmas.
  • Stop at the Pathway to Peace to see the National Christmas Tree.
  • Return to the Gaylord National for free time & dinner on own and to enjoy more of the Gaylord Resort and the National Harbor.
Day Four:
  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel prior to checking out.
  • Travel to George Washington’s Mount Vernon for a Mount Vernon Christmas! Tour the mansion decorated for the holidays to hear stories of Christmases past and other 18th-century demonstrations.
  • Enjoy lunch on own, and have some free time in Old Town Alexandria, and explore the historical and beautiful Georgian church architecture at Christ Church, dating back to 1773.
  • Visit the George Washington Masonic  National Memorial, a memorial and museum, an active Masonic temple, a research library, a cultural place, a community and performing arts center, and an important regional landmark!
  • See Robert E. Lee’s Boyhood Home.
  • Stop at the Torpedo Factory Art Center. A naval munitions factory that was converted into an art center, home to the largest number of publicly accessible working artists studios in the U.S. Depart for home.
