The highlight of this tour is the National Museum of Military Vehicles, a world-class military facility housing nearly 500 fully restored military vehicles, artillery pieces, naval vessels, and aircraft dating from 1897 to the present.

Sample Itinerary:
Day 1 - Museum of the Mountain Man & Cookout
  • Arrive in Pinedale, Wyoming and have Docent Led Tour at Museum of the Mountain Man check out exhibits of western historical pieces relating to the mountain men who explored the region in the early to middle part of the 19th century.
  • Enjoy an included cookout dinner this evening.
  • Check-in to your local hotel after dinner. (Meals: D)
 
Day 2 - National Museum of Wildlife Art & National Museum of Military Vehicles
  • Enjoy an included breakfast at your leisure in the hotel this morning prior to checking out.
  • Depart for Jackson, Wyoming. Enjoy free time and shopping on own in Downtown.
  • Later, arrive at the National Museum of Wildlife Art and enjoy a Docent Led Tour.
  • While visiting, enjoy lunch included prior to departing.
  • Arrive at the Craig Thomas Visitors Center. Explore and view the picturesque Teton Mountains through the floor to ceiling glass windowed visitors center or stretch your legs and find a great shot around the building.
  • Depart for Snake River Overlook in Moran, Wyoming. Soak up the panoramic views of the Tetons; take advantage of a great photo opportunity.
  • Later, arrive at the National Museum of Military Vehicles.
  • Enjoy a Welcome Dinner and Guided Tour of the museum. A brief overview of each area of the museum allows guests to plan the following days return to the museum for exploration.
  • Depart and check-in to your local hotel for the evening. (Meals: B, D)
 
Day 3 - National Museum of Military Vehicles
  • Enjoy breakfast included at the hotel before departing for an exciting day!
  • First, explore the National Museum of Military Vehicles on own.
  • Enjoy lunch on own at the museum -OR- the motor coach will be available to take guests who wish to explore something other than the museum to Downtown Dubois, where there is a limited small-town shopping experience and restaurants.
  • Next, arrive at the Museum of the American West. A unique not-for-profit outdoor/indoor museum complex educating the public by presenting & advancing the unmatched natural & cultural history of the Wind River & Sweetwater valleys and the South Pass region of the Rocky Mountains.
  • Enjoy an included Farewell Dinner this evening at a local favorite.
  • Return to hotel. (Meals: B, D)
 
Day 4 - Wind River Horse Sanctuary & Little America Travel Center
  • Enjoy breakfast included at hotel before checking out.
  • Arrive at the Wind River Horse Sanctuary. Here, guests will load onto a wagon and be taken out into the pasture where they will experience the wild horses protected by this sanctuary. Wind River offers horse auctions to local ranchers where the wild horses cared for by the Sanctuary can be purchased.
  • Depart and stop by Little America Travel Center and enjoy lunch on own.
  • Arrive at Fort Bridger. Established in 1843 by two famous mountain men, James (Jim) Bridger and Louis Vasquez, the fort would see 5 eras of occupation, not to mention the many trails coming through the area as well.
  • Depart for Downtown Salt Lake City, Utah, enjoy free time, & dinner on own.
  • Check-in to your local hotel for the evening. (Meals: B)
