• Arrive in Beaufort, SC via airport or car.
• Check in to your local accommodation of choice.
• Enjoy a Family ‘Welcome to Beautiful Beaufort ’ Dinner included at your choice of a neighborhood favorite restaurant.
  • Options include: local, fresh BBQ, Italian Cuisine, and, of course, local fare of shrimp , fish, and other locally sourced foods. 
• Return to your accommodation of choice.

• Meet your driver and board your personal Mercedes Benz Convertible Sprinter.
• Visit to the Port Royal Mariner Museum.
• Enjoy an Eco-Boat Tour with Guide!
• Lunch will be on own in downtown Beaufort where there are no franchise shops or restaurants, just quaint small-town southern charm.
• Tour the Kazoo Factory & Museum and even make your own keepsake Kazoo to bring home!
• Your Kayak Adventure begins!  Choose from the Salt Marsh Ecology, Reconstruction, or a general Fort Frederick or Beaufort History trip - these Guided Kayak Tours are fun for everyone!
• Return to your accommodation to rest and freshen up.
• Enjoy a Wine Reception on an Antebellum porch, (serving tea or soda for any youngsters in the group)!
• Relax with free time to stroll Beaufort and enjoy dinner on your own at the location of your choice.

• Enjoy breakfast this morning.
• Depart to catch the spirit of the islands on board our Convertible Sprinters. Travel the beaches and backroads while discovering what makes this area so unique. Roll back the retractable roof once we pull off of the main roads. Smell the earthy marsh and salty tidal air, soak in the sunlight, and enjoy the fresh air breezes.
• Embark on the “Journey from Slavery to Freedom” Tour, catching the spirit of island life and its unique history and heritage.
• Visit a Praise House, Pat Conroy’s Grave, a Slave Cemetery, & The Penn Center. See the Plantation House from the impressive Avenue of Oaks.
• Time for a little beach-combing at an undisturbed and beautiful barrier island. See the lighthouse, learn its history and climb to the top - if you dare!
• Walk the beach while learning about the unique eco-systems of this area, an Audubon and sea turtle preserve.
• Explore the island location, famous for its portrayal of the Vietnam beach scene in the movie Forrest Gump, where Forrest Gump carried Bubba to safety.
• Lunch is a Low Country Shrimp Boil, A.K.A. Frogmore Stew, and where we will “Hear the Rest of the Story” from a local storyteller and historical interpreter.
• Visit the Shrimp Docks, where the shrimp was harvested for the Low Country boil today! Owned by a local shrimper, see how they catch from the sea with their nets and boats. Experience the Low Country and its shrimping history.
• Stop to explore the real workings of an actual Oyster Farm!
• Dinner this evening can be on your own, or let the MARSouth Team set up a wonderful family dinner at one of the area’s best restaurants!

• Enjoy breakfast this morning.
• Stop at Wal-Mart for filling up the cooler with ice, snacks, and maybe pick up some beach games!
• Visit Hunting Island with your cooler filled with cold drinks, picnic lunch, and any other “family favorites”.
• Enjoy a Nature Eco-Walk with Professional Ranger before unpacking for Picnic and Beach Time!  Enjoy strolling the beach, swimming, or just relaxing.  The day is yours to enjoy!
• Return to your hotel at your leisure to refresh and enjoy dinner on own.

• Enjoy breakfast at the hotel this morning.
• Stop at Tybee Island for a visit to the Lighthouse Museum and a climb to the top.
• Visit Fort Pulaski and take a Dolphin Cruise!
• Fuel up at The Crab Shack for lunch included and see the alligators and parakeets while enjoying delicious foods including fresh local seafood.
• Sit back and relax on a 90-minute Historic Tour of Savannah.
• Enjoy free time to shop and stroll River Street or City Market.
• Dinner is  included at The Pirate House, a long-running pirate-themed restaurant offering hearty Southern fare in a rustic, historic inn.
• Return to your hotel for the evening.

• Enjoy breakfast included at the hotel prior to checking out.
• Last, but certainly not least, you’ll end your visit with an incredible Horse and Carriage Ride, complete with Tour Guide, throughout Historic Beaufort.
