Sample Itinerary:
Day 1 - Arrive
  • Arrive in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and check-in to your oceanfront hotel. This relaxed high-rise resort overlooking the ocean is a 2-minute walk from the nearest beach and a 14-minute walk from the Barefoot Landing shopping complex.
  • Enjoy a Welcome Dinner at your hotel.
Day 2 - Brookgreen Gardens, Saltwater March Tour, & The Hammock Shops Village
  • Enjoy breakfast at your hotel.
  • Stroll through Brookgreen Gardens. Brookgreen Gardens is the floral jewel of South Carolina's coast. Located north of Charleston and south of Myrtle Beach on South Carolina's Hammock Coast, the 9,127-acre property preserves this historic site's natural and cultivated landscape. Visitors come from around the world to see these beautiful gardens displaying spectacular sculptures. 
  • Enjoy lunch on your own in Murrells Inlet.
  • Embark on a Saltwater Marsh Bird & Eco Tour on the Explorer. Cruise through Murrells Inlet and its beautiful saltwater marsh estuary. Enjoy the sight and sounds as we tour the tranquil waters, bird watching and observing the underwater sea life with a naturalist. While on the cruise, participate in a live demonstration that includes local crabs and pulling a sample dredge from the bottom of the creek bed directly into the touch tank for all to observe. 
  • Explore The Hammock Shops Village. Today, this iconic setting offers a most memorable mix of Lowcountry nature, history, shopping, and dining. Whether browsing in the shops, sipping wine on the deck, or watching the art of hammock weaving and sweetgrass basket making being demonstrated each day, the pull of Pawleys is ever-present at The Hammock Shops.
  • Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 3 - Free Morning, Duplin Winery, & The Carolina Opry
  • Enjoy breakfast at your hotel.
  • This morning is free to visit the beach, shop at Barefoot Landing, or book a round of golf at any of the nearby golf courses.
  • Enjoy a wine tasting at Duplin Winery. Uncork the sweeter side of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina at Duplin Winery, makers of America’s favorite Muscadine wine. Kick back with a glass of something cool, sweet and easy. Their wine tastings let you sample at least ten preselected Duplin wines while one of their associates walks you through the flavors and history of each wine.
  • Dinner is included tonight at a local favorite.
  • Take your seats for a show at The Carolina Opry. The first variety show in Myrtle Beach—and still voted #1 every single year—the award-winning Carolina Opry show blends two hours of critically acclaimed music, comedy and dance with 35 of the nation’s top performers and was recently named by CNBC as the “Top Attraction in Myrtle Beach!”
Day 4 - Bellamy Mansion Museum, Downtown Wilmington, & Cape Fear Sightseeing Cruise
  • Enjoy breakfast at your hotel.
  • Visit Bellamy Mansion Museum. The Bellamy Mansion Museum of History and Design Arts is a non-profit educational institution dedicated to interpreting the social and architectural history of the Bellamy Mansion and promoting a greater understanding of historic preservation, architectural history and restoration methods in North Carolina. 
  • Enjoy lunch on your own in downtown Wilmington and shopping in the marketplace or river front. 
  • Take a Horse drawn Trolley Tour. Experience horse-drawn carriage travel enjoyed more than a century ago when life moved at a slower pace. Your friendly, knowledgeable, uniformed guide describes the history of Wilmington and the famous personalities who have lived and visited here as you leisurely ride past the stately mansions and homes of elegant downtown Wilmington. Your unique adventure is drawn by beautiful rescued Percheron draft horses.
  • Embark on a Cape Fear Sightseeing Cruise. Board a vessel at the foot of Water Street in downtown Wilmington and see our award-winning Riverwalk from a unique vantage point. Cape Fear River Boats offers several sightseeing and sunset cruises along the downtown Wilmington riverfront and also nature tours that travel up the cypress-lined Northeast Cape Fear River. 
  • Enjoy dinner on your own and shopping in Barefoot Landing.
Day 5 - Depart for Home
  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel this morning prior to checking out.
  • Depart for home.
