Day 1 - 
  • Arrive in Schuyler, VA, step back in time at the Walton’s Mountain Museum and relive the heart warming moments of the beloved TV series, “The Waltons”.
  • Check-in to The Virginian Lynchburg, a unique blend of historic charm and modern luxury.
  • Enjoy an included Welcome Dinner at a local favorite restaurant this evening.
  • Return to your hotel to rest & relax at your leisure.
Day 2 - 
  • Enjoy breakfast included at the hotel this morning prior to checking out.
  • First stop is a photo opportunity at the ‘LOVE Works’ sign on the James River Heritage Trail in Lynchburg.
  • Visit the Bedford Boys Tribute Center, the nation’s largest and most comprehensive museum promulgating the legacies of our famed “Bedford Boys”, and be reminded by their supreme sacrifices how freedom isn’t free.
  • Visit the National D-Day Memorial, a solemn tribute to the brave soldiers, often referred to as the “Bedford Boys” who participated in the D-Day invasion on June 6, 1944, during WWII.
  • Enjoy an included lunch at the newly restored Liberty Station and experience its rich cultural history and classic American fare.
  • Check-in to The Hotel Floyd and enjoy free time this evening to explore the area and the hotel’s amenities. Have dinner on own and participate in the local nightlife, featuring Live music at the Floyd Country Store.
  Day 3 - 
  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel prior to checking out and driving along the Blue Ridge Parkway.
      • Make a stop for a photo opportunity at the “LOVE Works” sign in Floyd, VA.
  • Embark on a Guided City Tour of historic Galax, VA, where you’ll see Rex Theater & visit Barr’s Music Shop.
      • Lunch is included nearby.
  • Explore the Blue Ridge Music Center & Pickin’ Porch where local performers play regional music every afternoon.
  • Check-in to your local Mount Airy, NC, hotel before dinner included at a popular local restaurant.

Day 4 - 
  • Enjoy an included breakfast at the hotel this morning prior to checking out.
  • Meet your Step-On Guide and get into a “Mayberry State of Mind” where you’ll learn about life in Mount Airy, the quaint hometown of TV icon, Andy Griffith. On your tour, explore the fun and whimsical Andy Griffith Museum as well as Earle Theatre for a memorable experience combining the nostalgia of yesteryear with the vibrancy of the contemporary entertainment of today.
  • Travel north to Cooter’s in Luray, VA, featuring Daisy’s Diner, Dukes of Hazard Museum, and a replica of Cooter’s Garage, complete with the General Lee, Cooter’s Tow Truck, Boss Hogg Caddy, and more, from the beloved American sitcom, Dukes of Hazard.
  • Check-in to The George Washington, a Wyndham Grand Hotel in downtown, historic Winchester, VA.
  • Delight in a delicious Farewell Dinner with a special tribute singer performing Live during your visit.
  • Return to your hotel for the remainder of your evening to rest, relax, and pack for your morning departure.
  Day 5 - 
  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel prior to checking out and embarking on a Guided Patsy Cline’s Hometown Tour.  You’ll see where she began her career at Winchester Radio Station WINC in 1946 at the age of 14, her childhood home, and visit her gravesite.
  • Enjoy lunch on own and free time to shop, explore, and stroll the brick stone streets of the Winchester Pedestrian Mall with its unique boutiques and plentiful dining opportunities, before departing for home.
