Day 1 - Arrive in Massachusetts
  • Arrive in Massachusetts and check-in to The Red Lion Inn, an iconic landmark whose warmth and character express timeless tradition, while its vibrant personality brings the best of the Berkshires to life.
  • This evening, enjoy dinner included at the Inn.
Day 2 - Norman Rockwell Museum
  • Enjoy breakfast included at the Inn this morning prior to checking out.
  • Visit the Norman Rockwell Museum, home to the world’s largest collection of original Rockwell art. Enjoy the 10 large galleries, gift shop, and beautiful 36-acre campus featuring Rockwell’s original studio, as well as sculptures by his son, Peter Rockwell.
  • Enjoy lunch on own while visiting then depart to Naumkeag. With its gracious house, magnificent gardens, and panoramic views, Naumkeag is a quintessential country estate of the Gilded Age.
  • Depart and enjoy dinner included at a local seafood restaurant. Afterwards, check-in to your Portsmouth, NH, area hotel for the evening.
Day 3 - New Brunswick Touring
  • Prior to checking out, enjoy breakfast included at the hotel this morning.
  • Depart and meet your GUIDE at Reversing Falls in Saint John, New Brunswick, for touring and exploring!
  • This evening, check-in to your local area hotel and dinner is included overlooking the Falls with access to the Skywalk.
 
Day 4 - Hopewell Rocks & Prince Edward Island
  • Enjoy breakfast included at the hotel this morning prior to checking out.
  • Today, drive through Fundy National Park to Hopewell Rocks, site of the highest tides in the world. Here, giant flowerpots have been carved from the cliffs by the force of the mighty Fundy tides. If the tide is low, you may be able to walk on the ocean floor.
  • Later this afternoon, cross the Confederation Bridge to Prince Edward Island and enjoy a traditional Lobster Dinner with tasty chowder or soup, locally cultivated mussels, salad, and homemade rolls. If you still have room, treat yourself to a dazzling array of the most scrumptious sweets!
  • Afterwards, check-in to your local area hotel for the evening.
Day 5 - Wood Islands Ferry Ride
  • Enjoy breakfast included at the hotel this morning prior to checking out.
  • Visit Green Gables, which has become famous around the world as the inspiration for the setting in Lucy Maud Montgomery's classic tale of fiction, ‘Anne of Green Gables’. Travel through Prince Edward Island National Park, renowned for its red sandstone cliffs, fine white sand beaches, dunes, and lush green fields.
  • At Wood Islands, board a ferry for your 75-minute crossing of the Northumberland Strait to Nova Scotia. Cross the Canso Causeway to Cape Breton, the Scotland of North America, and continue to Baddeck.
  • Check-in to your local area hotel, refresh, then enjoy dinner included this evening at a local favorite.
Day 6 - Cape Breton, Cabot Trail, Whale Watching Boat Tour
  • Enjoy breakfast included at the hotel this morning.
  • Today, discover why Conde Nast rated Cape Breton, “One of the Top Ten Islands in the World” as you travel along the Cabot Trail. The road winds around the rocky splendor of Cape Breton’s northern shore, ascending to the incredible plateaus of Cape Breton Highlands National Park, where mountains meet the sea! Scenic overlooks offer memorable vistas of Cape Breton’s rugged coastline, so be sure to have your camera ready!
  • Stop in Cheticamp on the shores of the Gulf of St. Lawrence, famous for its “hooked” crafts and Acadian culture. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park while visiting.
  • Depart and delight in a Whale Watch Boat Tour while en route around the trail.
  • Return to your hotel for free time and dinner on own this evening.
Day 7 - Alexander Graham Bell Museum, Halifax, & Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo
  • Enjoy breakfast included at the hotel this morning prior to checking out and departing to visit the Alexander Graham Bell Museum where you’ll discover his legacy from the humanitarian accomplishments, to his gigantic kites, air-planes, and a flying boat.
  • Next, travel to Nova Scotia’s Capital City, Halifax. Upon arrival, you will check-in to your hotel and enjoy an early dinner on your own. This evening, attend the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo*. The Tattoo is unlike any other show in the world. Military bands, pipes and drums, choirs, gymnasts, dancers, military displays, and competitions offer the most exciting entertainment ever found under one roof!
  • Following the performance, return to your hotel for free time on your own.
  • *Tattoo performance may be subject to change; itinerary would be adjusted accordingly.
Day 8 - Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, Historic Port City Tour, & Relax
  • After breakfast included at the hotel this morning, visit the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic. Located in the heart of Halifax’s Waterfront, there’s no better place to immerse yourself in Nova Scotia’s rich maritime heritage. From small craft boat building to World War Convoys, the Days of Sail to the Age of Steam, the Titanic to the Halifax Explosion, you’ll discover the stories, events, and people which have come to define Nova Scotia and its relationship with the sea.
  • Next, enjoy a tour of the Historic Port City. You will hear stories of Halifax during the war years, including the Halifax Explosion and the city’s role in the recovery operations after the Titanic disaster. See the universities, downtown area, and make a photo stop at the Halifax Citadel National Historic Site, situated high on a hill overlooking the downtown core. Stroll through the Public Gardens, a fine example of a formal Victorian public garden.
  • The rest of the day is yours to shop, explore, and soak in all that Halifax has to offer.
Day 9 - Peggy's Cove, Annapolis Valley, & Ferry Ride
  • Check out and set off early this morning for the quaint fishing village of Peggy’s Cove where you’ll enjoy breakfast. Here, a graceful lighthouse sits on top of the smooth wave-worn granite off the coast. The tiny harbor below the lighthouse is a masterpiece of seasoned fish sheds and colorful fishing boats, making it one of the most photographed places in Canada.
  • Later, travel across the province to the scenic Annapolis Valley and learn about the expulsion of the Acadians at Grand Pre-National Historic Site.
  • In Digby, board the ferry for your 3-hour crossing of the Bay of Fundy to Saint John, NB, where you will spend your final night in Canada.
  • Check-in to your hotel for the evening and enjoy dinner on own and free time to explore at your leisure.
Day 10 - Trolley Tour & Explore Kennebunkport Maine Dock Square Shops.
  • Breakfast included at the hotel this morning prior to checking out and departing for Kennebunkport, Maine. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch on your own along the beautiful Main Street in Kennebunkport.
  • Take a trolley tour of Kennebunkport and explore the Kennebunkport Maine Dock Square Shops.
  • Depart and check-in to the Colony Hotel to relax and refresh before dinner. The resort is a recognizable landmark from land and sea overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Kennebunk River, and private beach.
  • This evening, dinner is included at the hotel and enjoy free time to explore the resort.
Day 11 - Depart for Home
  • After breakfast included at the hotel, depart for home.
