This immersive journey explores the historic Bronzeville and South Side neighborhoods, the Obama Presidential Center*, and landmarks connected to Black business, journalism, military history, civil rights, and music. Travel to Evanston to uncover the history of Chicago’s early Black communities and the systemic barriers that shaped the city, then delve deeper at the DuSable Black History Museum and Education Center. Along the way, discover the musical roots of Chicago at the legendary Chess Records and cap your adventure with dinner and live blues at Buddy Guy’s Legends. From history and architecture to politics, community, and music, this is Chicago told through a powerful and unforgettable Black history lens.

*At this time clients must secure their own Presidential Library Tickets, and MARS will build your custom Obama Presidential Library Tour around your ticketed time. Tickets must be purchased online at the time of reservation and are currently limited to blocks of 10. We are actively pursuing further details on group ticketing processes which have not yet been made available or announced.  We will notify when and if the Center announces a group ticketing process and procedure.
