Day 1 - Arrive in Holland
  • Arrive in Holland, Michigan and check in to your local hotel.
  • Enjoy a Welcome Dinner included at a local Dutch restaurant presenting a twist on tradition; a four-course meal putting a spin on Dutch cuisine.  Each course will be presented by your host offering insight into their twist on the traditional recipe.
  • Return to your hotel for the evening. (Meals: D)
Day 2 - Holland Tulip Festival, Dutch Markplaats, & Veldheer-Deklomp Farm
  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel this morning.
  • Enjoy an inside look at the Holland and the Tulip Festival. For over 90 years, millions of people have gathered to participate in Holland’s Tulip Time Festival. Drawing more than 500,000 people annually, Tulip Time offers a nine-day experience of our town and its traditions. With over 5 million tulips blooming throughout the city and hundreds of klompen dancers, Tulip Time has been heralded as the nation’s Best Flower Festival, America’s Best Small Town Festival and even the 2017 – 2018 Tulip Festival of the Year! From Dutch traditional garb and dance to nationally renowned entertainment, Tulip Time celebrates both culture and community. This year, participate in all the festival offers — parades, carnival rides, wooden shoes, elephant ears, fireworks and tulips. We invite you to join as we embrace heritage and our town’s unique dance.
    • Enjoy a Luncheon Show featuring the Tulip Festival!
  • Explore the Dutch Markplaats.
  • Visit Veldheer-Deklomp Farm, where in 1950 Vern Veldheer planted a couple hundred tulip bulbs as a hobby. Now, Veldheer's plants around 5 million tulip bulbs each year! (Meals: B)
Day 3 - Mackinaw City & Mackinac Island
  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel prior to checking out.
  • Lunch on own in Mackinaw City, a village on the northern tip of Michigan’s Lower Peninsula, where the Great Lakes Huron and Michigan meet.  Mackinac Bridge crosses the Straits of Mackinac to the Upper Peninsula. Colonial Michilimackinac is a reconstructed 18th-century fort and fur-trading post. Founded in 1889, Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse has restored quarters and views from the top. Wilderness State Park includes stretches of Lake Michigan shoreline, trails, and campsites.
  • Enjoy a Trolley Tour of Mackinaw City.
  • Ferry to Mackinac Island.  The five-mile ride across the Straits of Mackinac takes around 15-20 minutes.  As a crossroads between Lake Huron and Lake Michigan, the Straits of Mackinac was once of great strategic importance for the French, British and American forces that fought in the Midwest during the 18th and 19th centuries. Fort Mackinac, located on Mackinac Island, was a stronghold for both the British and Americans, while Fort Michilimackinac in Mackinaw City was first a French trading post, and then a British fort. Both forts are now operated as museums open to the public.
  • Horse-Drawn Carriage transport to your resort.
  • Enjoy the later part of the afternoon and evening for free time and dinner on own this evening.  Dine at many of the restaurants available and take advantage of the hotel's amenities such as:

Day 4 - Mackinac Island
  • Enjoy breakfast at your leisure this morning at the hotel.
  • Enjoy a Narrated Carriage Tour of Mackinac Island.  Experience the charm of Mackinac in the most enjoyable and authentic way.  Tour stops include:
    • Surry Hills Carriage Museum
    • Wings of Mackinac Butterfly Conservatory
    • Arch Rock
  • Visit Fort Mackinac Tea Room for lunch included followed by a tour of the fort.
  • Additional free time this afternoon to indulge in the island's offerings at your leisure.
  • Farewell Dinner included at the resort this evening. (Meals: B, L, D)
Day 5 - Castle Farms & Friske's Farm Market
  • Enjoy breakfast at your leisure this morning prior to checking out.
  • Depart via horse-drawn carriage to board the ferry to the Mainland.
  • Step back in time with a visit to Castle Farms, one of Michigan's premier historical attractions, as well as a celebrated Northern Michigan wedding venue.
  • Visit Friske's Farm Market.
  • Check in to your local area hotel.
  • Dinner on own and free time at your leisure this evening. (Meals: B)
Day 6 - S.S. Badger Lake Michigan & Manitowoc
  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel this morning prior to checking out.
  • Arrive at S.S. Badger Lake Michigan Carferry Service for boarding.  Discover exciting group travel adventures when you cruise on the 410' S.S. Badger! Enjoy a relaxing 4-hour trip between Ludington, Michigan and Manitowoc, Wisconsin. There is plenty to see and do aboard the huge ship - including games with our entertainer, free movies and satellite television, shopping in the gift shop, or just strolling or lounging on the spacious outside decks.
  • Lunch included while sailing.
  • Enjoy free time to explore in Manitowoc.
  • Check in to your local area hotel.  Baggage handling is included.
  • Enjoy dinner and a show at Memories Ballroom, featuring the beautiful ambiance of a by-gone era.

Day 7 - Boerner Botanical Gardens & Guided Kringle Tour 
  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel prior to checking out.
  • Visit Boerner Botanical Gardens, where thousands of plants bring the seasons to life with colorful displays laid out in 12 formal gardens.  Explore a rose garden, peony garden, and daylily garden, and stroll under the crabapple trees.
  • Enjoy a Guided Kringle Tour in Racine.
  • Stop by the MARS Cheese Castle offering, not only exceptional cheeses, but also an experience not to be missed.
  • Depart for home.
