Day One: A Historic Welcome in Gettysburg

Your journey begins with arrival in iconic Gettysburg, PA, either via motor coach or through the Baltimore/Washington International (BWI) Airport. The tone is set immediately with lunch at the historic Dobbin House Tavern, the oldest standing building in Gettysburg and a beloved dining destination. Originally built in 1776, this beautifully preserved stone house offers groups a warm, inviting atmosphere, and traditional colonial-style cuisine, thoughtfully prepared and served in period-inspired dining rooms that reflect the elegance of early American life.
Following lunch, the afternoon is devoted to one of America’s most significant destinations- the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum and Visitor Center. Guests will experience the powerful orientation film, the breathtaking Cyclorama, and thoughtfully curated museum exhibits before boarding their own motor coach for a two-hour guided battlefield tour, led by a licensed step-on guide who brings the landscape and stories vividly to life.
As the day winds down, travel through the scenic Cumberland Valley to Comfort Suites Downtown Carlisle, where the group will check-in and freshen up before departing for dinner. The evening offers a perfect blend of dining and entertainment with dinner and a live performance at the charming Playhouse Theater at Allenberry, a cherished destination set along the scenic Yellow Breeches Creek. Known for its welcoming atmosphere and engaging productions, Allenberry offers groups a relaxed and entertaining cultural experience in a charming, historic setting.

Day Two: Artisan Traditions & Tastes of Pennsylvania

Begin the day with a relaxing complimentary breakfast and checkout, followed by a hands-on visit to Meadowbrooke Gourds, the largest maker of handcrafted gourds in the world! Guests will enjoy a memorable and interactive make-and-take experience, creating a unique souvenir to take home.
A sweet stop at the Lindt Chocolate Factory Outlet follows- perfect for sampling and shopping. Afterwards, unwind with a catered lunch, tour, and tasting at Eichelberger Distillery and historic Dills Tavern, where centuries of craftsmanship and storytelling meet modern spirits.
Following the tasting, depart and arrive in York, PA and check into the Four Points by Sheraton York. This evening, depart and enjoy farm-to-table dining, touring, and tasting at the picturesque Wyndridge Farm, a beautifully restored historic farmstead in southern York County. Surrounded by rolling countryside, this charming destination blends rustic elegance with modern comfort. End the evening and return to the hotel.

Day Three: Downtown York & Dinner Theater Delight

The day begins with a hot breakfast buffet before heading into downtown York. Guests explore the York County History Center, offering insight into the region’s rich past, followed by a creative stop at Sunrise Soap Company’s Creation Station, where each traveler crafts a personalized bath or body item to take home.
Lunch is enjoyed independently at the lively Central Market, one of the nation’s oldest continuously operating farmers markets. The afternoon invites guests to stretch their legs on a guided leisurely stroll through the Victorian section of Historic Prospect Hill Cemetery, known for its beautiful monuments and peaceful setting.
After time to freshen up, the evening highlight awaits: dinner and a show at Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre in Lancaster, PA- a beloved Lancaster County tradition, known for its warm hospitality and Broadway-style productions. This theatre offers the perfect blend of delicious dining and live performance, all under one roof- making it an easy and enjoyable experience. Return to the Four Points by Sheraton for a restful second night.

Day Four: Lancaster’s Living History

Following a hot breakfast buffet and checkout, guests will depart and enjoy a flavorful guided tour at Seltzer’s Smokehouse Meats. Step into a true taste of Pennsylvania tradition at this family-owned landmark that has been crafting premium smoked meats since 1902. Here, the group will learn about time-honored smoking techniques during an engaging visit, with the opportunity to sample some of Seltzer’s famous expertly smoked specialties. The on-site store makes it easy to take a little taste of Lancaster County home, featuring packaged meats and gift items that are perfect for souvenirs.
The afternoon offers a deeply moving encounter with “Living the Experience,” a historical reenactment of the Underground Railroad, followed by a signature lunch at the Bethel AME Church.
Later, enjoy free time shopping at the charming Kitchen Kettle Village, a relaxed and enjoyable experience filled with local flavor, friendly hospitality, and small-town charm. The group can browse a variety of specialty shops, to include homemade jams and relishes, baked goods, quilts, handcrafted gifts, and Pennsylvania Dutch treats. With mostly level walkways, convenient rest areas, and a comfortable pace, the village is well suited for groups of all ages!
This evening, check into a nearby hotel and enjoy a free evening to relax and explore the town at leisure.

Day Five: Amish Countryside & Wondrous Entertainment

After breakfast and checkout, a knowledgeable step-on guide joins the group for a scenic Amish Farmlands Tour, complete with stops at Amish-owned businesses or attractions, such as a local favorite, The Lil’ Country Store & Miniature Horse Farm.
Following our tour, the afternoon brings laughter and wonder with a handcrafted buffet lunch and a dazzling variety and illusionist show at the Magic & Wonder Dinner Theater. Prepare to be amazed, as this one-of-a-kind Lancaster County attraction combines great food with incredible live stage productions, featuring grand illusions, music, comedy, and audience interaction. The theater’s intimate and completely accessible seating layout ensures excellent views from every seat.
From there, depart and travel to the rolling countryside of the Brandywine Valley, check into the elegant Inn at Mendenhall, where the group will enjoy a warm Welcome Reception before departing and gathering for a n exceptional farewell dinner at Brandywine Prime, a premier restaurant that blends local flavor, comfort, and hospitality- perfect for those seeking a touch of culinary delight.

Day Six: Gardens & Farewell

Savor a delicious breakfast at the Inn before departing for the breathtaking Longwood Gardens, one of America’s premier horticultural destinations and a true highlight of Pennsylvania’s Brandywine Valley. Spanning more than 1,000 acres, Longwood offers an easy-paced, visit filled with seasonal color, graceful fountains, and inspiring landscapes. Guests may enjoy a guided or self-guided exploration while here. With convenient rest areas, accessible pathways, on-site dining options, and gift shops, Longwood Gardens offers a comfortable, enriching, and visually stunning experience that delights visitors of all ages.
While at Longwood, lunch options include dining independently at the café (vouchers available), or gathering for a final group meal.
The journey concludes with travel to Philadelphia International Airport or onward departure via motorcoach, carrying home memories filled with history, hospitality, and heart.
