Day 2 - Arizona Sonora Desert Museum, Pima Air & Space Museum, & Gaslight Theater
  • Enjoy breakfast at your hotel.
  • Head out to visit the famous Arizona Sonora Desert Museum. Founded in 1952, the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum is widely recognized throughout the world as a model institution for innovative presentation and interpretation of native plants and animals featured together in ecological exhibits. The Museum is regularly listed as one of the top ten zoological parks in the world due to its unique approach in interpreting the complete natural history of a single region (in our case this is the Sonoran Desert and adjacent ecosystems).
  • Make your way out to the Pima Air & Space Museum. Featuring about 400 historic aircraft, from a Wright Flyer to a 787 Dreamliner. Sitting on 80 acres the museum opened its doors to the public in May of 1976. Over the past forty years, the museum has grown immensely and today encompasses six indoor exhibit hangars. Enjoy lunch on your own while visiting.
  • Take your seats for dinner and a show at Gaslight Theater. Since 1977, The Gaslight Theatre has provided Tucson the finest family entertainment in Arizona. They have musical comedy melodramas 6 nights a week, and 5 different shows per year. Westerns, sci-fi spoofs, our famous Christmas Shows, and everything in between- you can find it all here at The Gaslight! Cheer the hero and boo the villain while enjoying your favorite beer or soft drink, pizza, ice cream, and mountains of free popcorn! They also have concerts every Monday night! At The Gaslight, they’re about great entertainment, great food, low prices, and giving you a fun place to forget about your troubles, sit back, relax, and laugh!

Day 3 - Bisbee, Tombstone, & Pinnacle Peak Steakhouse & Saloon
  • Enjoy breakfast at your hotel.
  • Arrive in Bisbee. Located 90 miles southeast of Tucson and nestled among the Mule Mountains, Bisbee is the picturesque county seat of historic Cochise County.
  • Spend the rest of the day in Tombstone. Tombstone is a town in southeastern Arizona, known for its Wild West history. Exhibits at the Tombstone Courthouse State Historic Park include a replica gallows. On historic Allen Street, the O.K. Corral outdoor theater re-enacts an 1881 cowboy gunfight. Resident ghosts are said to haunt the bullet-riddled Bird Cage Theatre. Outlaws are among the local townsfolk buried at the 1878 Boothill Cemetery.
  • Return to Tucson for dinner at Pinnacle Peak Steakhouse and Saloon. Established in 1962, Pinnacle Peak is home of the World-Famous Mesquite-Grilled Cowboy Steak! If you’re looking for the best steakhouse Tucson has to offer, then you don’t need to look any further. Pinnacle Peak takes great pride in serving real Western food in an authentic Old West atmosphere. Over the decades they have become famous for serving the best steaks in Tucson, and our Master Grillers only cook over real mesquite wood. So, kick back, relax, and take a trip back to simpler times. Remember, Pinnacle Peak is for fun – no ties allowed!

Day 4 - San Xavier Mission & Lutes Casino
  • Enjoy breakfast at your hotel prior to checking out.
  • Arrive at the San Xavier Mission – The White Dove of the Desert. A National Historic Landmark, San Xavier Mission was founded as a Catholic mission by Father Eusebio Kino in 1692. Construction of the current church began in 1783 and was completed in 1797. The oldest intact European structure in Arizona, the church's interior is filled with marvelous original statuary and mural paintings. It is a place where visitors can truly step back in time and enter an authentic 18th Century space.
  • Depart for Yuma.
  • Stop for lunch at Lutes Casino which is a Yuma original – and a favorite with locals and visitors alike since the 1920s. Though called a “casino,” there isn’t (officially) any gambling these days, though a friendly bet or two might get placed over the pool tables. Basically, a beer and burger joint, Lutes is known for its “eclectic” décor, which evolved organically long before chain restaurants started hanging old signs and memorabilia on the walls.
  • After lunch, check into your hotel for a relaxing evening on your own. Explore some of Yuma’s local restaurants such as River City Grill or Prison Hill Brewing.

Day 5 - Yuma Tour & Martha's Date Gardens

  • Start your morning by learning why Yuma is known as the:” Lettuce Capital of the World” Find out what is growing in all those neat rows in the fields and a whole lot more. Enjoy this half-day tour led by a local grower and you’ll get the first-hand low-down on topics ranging from food safety, current tech trends, labor, and water.
  • Visit Martha’s Date Gardens, one of the oldest culture tree crops, with records showing it was cultivated in Mesopotamia more than 5,000 years ago. Grab Lunch, a date shake and see how this sweet treat is packaged, processed and picked.
  • Head back to the hotel for the afternoon to relax before dinner.
  • Enjoy an unforgettable "Date Night," the world’s largest producer of Medjool dates. Dinner under the Stars at a real producing date grove, a multi-course gourmet featuring dates, entertainment and, and even samples of beer made from dates (a cash bar is also available on site). Special presentations by a date grower.
