Day 1 - Plantation Touring & Pecan Dinner
  • Arrive in Florence, South Carolina, tour the Columns Plantation, visit Red Doe Plantation, and stop at Pim Farms. Stop and Shop All Things Pecan!
  • Check-in to your hotel. Enjoy a Pecan Dinner at a Local Favorite Restaurant. (Meals: D)
 
Day 2 - Pecan Pancake Breakfast, Distillery, & Wine Tasting
  • Prior to checking out, enjoy a Pecan Pancake Breakfast. Next, meet Tommy Taylor at Garden For Life. Tommy Taylor, President of Taylor Garden & Gift Shop is a 4th generation nurseryman who not only enjoys gardening but also involves his family. Tommy is also a SCNA certified nursery professional. He also has a weekly TV segment on WBTW. His wife, Pauline, is a talented floral and interior designer who manages the Gift and Christmas shop.
  • Stop at Pee Dee State Farmers Market, showcasing some of the state’s freshest and finest produce and has also become a prime location for the ornamental horticulture and floriculture industry. Enjoy an included lunch with farm fresh food and genuine southern hospitality at a family owned and operated business. Depart for Beaufort, South Carolina, and visit Lady’s Island Oyster for an Oyster Experience! Learn about how important oysters are to the Eco-system, different farming techniques, and enjoy a tasting.
  • Arrive at a Local Distillery, enjoy a tasting & tour where handcrafted spirts are created! Enjoy a Wine Welcome Reception on an Antebellum Porch and dinner included this evening in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere focusing on bringing people together to enjoy each other’s company, good food, delicious local wines and microbrews and the beautiful Lowcountry days. Check-in to your local area hotel. (Meals: B, L, D)
 
Day 3 - River Dolphin Cruise, Gullah Geechee Culture, & Civil Rights History
  • Enjoy breakfast included at the hotel. Depart on foot and arrive at Coastal Expeditions and board your Story River Dolphin Cruise at Hunting Island! The Coastal Expeditions on-board naturalist will share also interesting facts about local history as it intertwines with the natural history of these waters dating from the prehistoric habitation of the indigenous people to the very first western European settlers in our state in the mid-seventeenth century.
  • Dock and depart with your GUIDE. Hear the story of the Gullah Geechee Culture.
  • Arrive at the Gullah Geechee Visitors Center and enjoy a Low Country Shrimp Boil lunch AKA Frogmore Stew, where we will hear, “The Circle Unbroken”, the story of the Gullah Culture from a local storyteller and historical interpreter.
  • Depart with GUIDE and visit the Penn Center, a South Carolina Historical Legacy and An American Cultural Treasure formerly known as Penn School, one of the country’s first schools for formerly enslaved individuals. Continue catching the spirit of island life and its unique history and heritage. Visit a Praise House, Pat Conroy Grave, and Slave Cemetery.
  • Enjoy free time and dinner on own this evening in downtown Historic Beaufort! (Meals: B, L)
 
Day 4 - Kazoo Factory & Horse Drawn Carriage Ride
  • Prior to checking out, enjoy breakfast included at the hotel. Tour the Kazoo Factory Museum containing historical kazoos and you'll learn all about how the kazoo was invented and how it has come to be America's most beloved musical instrument.
  • Take a Sea Island Horse Drawn Carriage Ride and learn about Beaufort’s history, see Hollywood movie sets, gorgeous gardens, ancient churches and many Civil War era Antebellum homes. Explore downtown Beaufort for lunch on own, a perfect place to find that special Palmetto Souvenir!
  • Depart for Myrtle Beach and arrive at Murrell’s Inlet. Enjoy a stroll along the Boardwalk and stop to enjoy a cocktail and hors d’oeuvres. Enjoy Dinner on the Deck overlooking the water at a local hot spot.
  • Check-in to your local Myrtle Beach Hotel. (Meals: B, D)
 
Day 5 - Optional Activity Day, Wine Tasting, & Broadway Show
  • Enjoy breakfast at your leisure this morning. Begin the day with your choice of: Golf, Fishing, or a Day on the Beach!
  • Your golf option includes full 18-holes with golf cart and a Group Luncheon upon the conclusion of the game.
  • Your fishing optional activity and adventure is Inshore and Offshore fishing fun for all skill levels, but most importantly, making memories lasting a lifetime. Take a ride on one of their fast and colorful Inshore/Nearshore fishing charters boats. Your fish will be cleaned and prepared to cook for an included lunch today. -OR- Spend your day on the beach relaxing, soaking up the sun, & enjoy the salty tidal breeze.
  • Later, arrive for a luxurious Wine Tasting Reception! Uncork the sweeter side of Myrtle Beach, kick back with a glass of something cool, sweet, and easy on the porch and enjoy live music.
  • Return to the resort to freshen up prior to dinner included at Seafood Restaurant. The true flavor of Gulf Coast tradition is all about family, warmth, and exceptional seafood. They strive to bring all those things together, providing a fun-filled dining experience that will make you want to drop your anchor and never leave.
  • Enjoy Broadway on the Beach after dinner. With its great location, convenient parking, and wide range of outstanding activities for visitors of all ages, it's the perfect place to make magical memories with your family and friends. Take your seats for the “Legends In Concert” Show! Return to the hotel for the evening. (Meals: B, D) (L - Based on selected activity) 
 
Day 6 - Boat Excursion, Gullah Geechee Presentation, Hammock Shop, & Theater Show
  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel this morning. Discover and be amazed at Brookgreen Gardens, a unique melding of art, nature, and history. One of America’s premier gardens and one of a few select places in the United States to have earned accreditation from the American Alliance of Museums and the Association of Zoos and Aquarium.
  • Sail off on a Lowcountry Creek Pontoon Boat Excursion which will allow you to cruise the creeks on a 48-foot pontoon boat. You will pass historic rice fields, now home to alligators, waterfowl, and osprey as an interpreter helps you see the distinctive landscape of the rice plantations and understand the role of enslaved Africans in the cultivation of the rice crop and the shaping of the history of the Lowcountry.
  • Be inspired with a Gullah Geechee Presentation by Ron Daise. Ron Daise, Vice-President for Creative Education, and a Gullah descendant, presents an entertaining and informative program about the culture, food, language, and history of the Gullah Geechee people. Gullah - The language spoken by the Lowcountry's first black inhabitants. Enjoy lunch included while visiting Brookgreen Gardens.
  • Visit The Hammock Shops Village, home to the Original Pawleys Island Rope Hammock, where you can still view the weavers working the magic you remember as a child. Enjoy the day browsing everything from fashionable clothing and shoes to handcrafted collectibles and jewelry, coastal inspired treasures, wine, gifts, candy, specialty art, gourmet kitchen items and more.
  • Enjoy a Dinner Feast at a local favorite serving fresh local seafood daily and their buffet is world-famous for introducing the Myrtle Beach area to cooking seafood Calabash style.
  • Arrive for seating at either the Alabama Theatre or The Carolina Opry Theater, pending availability.
  • Return to the resort for the evening. (Meals: B, L, D)
 
Day 7 - Dolphin Tour and Beach Bash & Shag Party
  • Enjoy breakfast at your leisure this morning. Embark on your Blue Wave Adventures Dolphin Watch Tour. Breathe in the salty ocean breezes as you journey on a tour through the beautiful Murrells Inlet and along the majestic Atlantic coastline for excitement, relation, and educational learning. Return, dock, disembark, and depart.
  • Enjoy lunch on own and free time at Murrells Inlet Boardwalk.
  • Enjoy free time at the resort and beach bumming this afternoon!
  • Depart for your BEACH BASH & Shag Party! Receive your annual customized towel to add to your collection!
  • Return to the hotel for the evening. (Meals: B, D)
 
Day 8 - Boat Tour, Museums, & Depart!
  • Prior to checking out, enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Georgetown, South Carolina.
  • Arrive for boarding at Cap’n Rod’s Lowcountry Boat Tour. Set sail and step back in time with each Bend of the River as you cruise past Rice Plantations, trunk gates & slave cabins, and moss-laden oaks, all the while enjoying Mother Nature at her finest. Lunch is included today prior to exciting touring adventures!
  • See the Kaminski House Museum, one of the most representative of the Georgian style of the era. Built on a bluff overlooking the Sampit River, the Kaminski House is typical of the Low country “single house” style of the mid-18th century.
  • Visit the Rice Museum, built in 1842 to replace a wooden structure that had been severely damaged in an 1841 fire that destroyed much of Front Street. The “new” Old Market Building was used originally as a law court and jail.
  • Enjoy lunch on own while strolling along Front Street in Historic Georgetown. Surrounded by live oak lined streets, Downtown Historic Georgetown is the 3rd oldest city in the state and is filled with history, charm and personality. Depart for home. (Meals: B)
