Day 1 - Shipwreck Museum and Vineyard Tour & Tasting
  • Arrive at the Discoversea Shipwreck Museum, an ever-changing exhibit that expands and diversifies with the acquisitions of new artifacts as they are recovered. Their current location houses about 10,000, while the other 80% are rotated throughout museum exhibits around the world.
  • Meet your GUIDE for a tour of Historic Lewes, DE., the “First Town in the First State”. Lewes was originally discovered by Henry Hudson, in 1609, and settled in 1631. Your visit will include both ride-by and walking/museum tours beginning with the new Lewes History Museum and including Lewes history, maritime adventures, and haunted tales.
  • Visit Nassau Valley Vineyards Winery, the first and only award-winning winery in the state of Delaware, opened by jazz singer Peggy Raley. It is located just a few miles from beach resorts. Enjoy a Tour & Tasting, to include a presentation by the Owner, a walk through display about the 8,000-year history of wine and winemaking, and an opportunity to buy wine and accessories in the gift shop.
  • Enjoy dinner included at a local brewery, serving diverse American fare in an airy space with a coastal vibe, a patio, & live music
 
Day 2 - John Dickinson Plantation & Heritage Park Tour
  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Depart and visit the John Dickinson Plantation. He was one of the founding fathers of the United States, signer of the U.S. Constitution, and "Penman of the Revolution". Tour will include a 15-minute video followed by a residence tour and a hands-on demo.
  • Depart and arrive at the Air Mobility Command Museum for a fantastic tour at the only institution in the country dedicated to airlift and air refueling history. Located in historic Hangar 1301 on the Dover Air Force Base, the museum showcases over 30 aircrafts including a former presidential aircraft, flight simulators, and more!
  • Enjoy a private, catered lunch included while visiting the museum, then depart and visit the First State Heritage Park & meet your local Park Ranger. The First State Heritage Park at Dover is Delaware's first urban "park without boundaries" linking historic and cultural sites in the city.
  • Visit the following First State Heritage Park Sites: the Johnson Victrola Museum - a premier collection of its kind, displaying sound recording industry items dating from the 1890'sthrough 1929. The museum honors Eldridge Reeves Johnson Victrola of Dover who founded the Victor Talking Machine Company in 1901. The Old State House and Biggs Museum - Delaware's first permanent capitol building completed in 1791 on Dover's historic Green. Stories of Historic Dover Walking Tour of “The Green.”
  • Depart and enjoy dinner on own & free time while exploring Rehoboth Beach
 
Day 3 - Cape May Ferry & Angels of the Sea House Tour
  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel prior to checking out. Take the Cape May Ferry from Lewes to North Cape May, New Jersey. Sit back and relax while you cruise past historic lighthouses, picturesque harbors, and local wildlife. You may even have your very own dolphin pod or whale escort.
  • Arrive to North Cape May and meet your local Guide for a tour to include: Cape May Lighthouse - built in 1859, located at the tip of Cape May in Lower Township’s Cape May Point State Park. See the World War II Lookout Tower, a former military tower with views from the top and a boardwalk featuring interpretive panels.
  • Depart for an Angel of the Sea House Tour, and experience the elegance, romance, and beach-front views of this 27-room Victorian mansion converted into a bed & breakfast. Depart and enjoy lunch on own while exploring Cape May.
  • Depart and check in to your area hotel. Soak up the serene spirit of its seaside setting. Enjoy a sunset Dolphin Cruise with complimentary pizza and hot dogs. See Victorian homes, Cape May Lighthouse, and many other points of interest as your Captain narrates the tour with historical facts.
  • See local dolphins in their pristine environment and learn about their habits and habitat all while enjoying the large, comfortable super cruiser. Dock, disembark, and return to hotel. Dinner is on own tonight in Cape May.
 
Day 4 - Fireman’s Museum & Trolley Tour of Cape May
  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel prior to checking out then stop at Cape May Fireman’s Museum where the antique 1928 American La France fire engine is housed.
  • Enjoy a Trolley Tour of Cape May, the best way to get acquainted with Victorian Cape May. Depart for the Emlen Physick Estate - a Victorian house museum where you can step back in time to the Victorian lifestyle.
  • Enjoy free time to explore and have lunch on own at your leisure before departing for home.
