• Arrive in Boston, MA, and meet your step-on Guide to begin your Driving/Walking Tour of the Freedom Trail where you’ll see sites such as:
  • The State House atop Beacon Hill.
  • Walk through the Boston Common, American’s oldest public park, where cows grazed, the militia was trained, witches and pirates were hanged, and nagging wives were dunked in the local pond!
  • Park Street Church where William Lloyd Garrison gave his 1st public anti-slavery speech and “America” was sung by school children.
  • Old South Meeting House - “No tax on tea!” The decision was made on December 16, 1773, when 5,000 angry colonists gathered at the Old South Meeting House to protest a tax and started a revolution with the Boston Tea Party. Built in 1729, the Old South Meeting House was the largest building in colonial Boston and provided a stage for the drama of the American Revolution. Stand on the Boston Massacre site where men and women lost their lives in an act of defiance.
  • Old State House, the oldest surviving public building in Boston, it was built in 1713 to house the government offices of the Massachusetts Bay Colony.
  • USS Constitution, an interactive museum near the 1797 wooden frigate made famous as "Old Ironsides" in the War of 1812.
