Sample Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to the Forrest Gump Tour

• Arrive in beautiful Beaufort, South Carolina!  Your adventure begins with a private Welcome Dinner where you’ll be greeted by "Jenny" herself and enjoy music from the iconic movie soundtrack. Each guest will receive a signature “Jenny” cocktail to set the tone for a fun-filled journey ahead.

Day 2: Forrest Gump Film Sites and Lunch on the Island

• After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, meet your Forrest Gump Guide for a tour of memorable filming locations, including the "Cross Country Run" scene, the Mississippi Bridge, and the Vietnam Beach scene. Learn about Forrest’s heroic acts, (like when he saved Bubba) and hear behind-the-scenes stories.
• Enjoy a delicious lunch at a locally owned seafood restaurant on the island where much of the movie was filmed.
• This afternoon, pick up a box of chocolates from a Tom Hanks favorite and, who knows, you might just run into Forrest himself sitting on his famous bench.
• Dinner is on your own in Beaufort, where only locally owned establishments can be found. Return to your hotel at your leisure in the evening.

Day 3: Savannah Movie Sites and Trolley Tour

• Start the day with breakfast before heading to Savannah, home to more memorable Forrest Gump locations.
• Visit the original Forrest Gump bench at the Savannah History Center, followed by a trolley tour showcasing iconic spots like Jenny’s Restaurant.
• Visit the site of 'The Row of Oaks' Forrest Gump ran through in the movie.
• Enjoy free time for lunch and shopping along River Street.
• Later, embark on a Cruise & Guided Shrimp Tour on a real Shrimp Boat!
• Afterward, enjoy dinner at a historic Savannah favorite, then relax and unwind at your hotel for the night.

Day 4: Seaside Adventure and Savannah’s History

• After breakfast, embark on a thrilling sea adventure as you board a ship to spot playful dolphins and see more filming sites from the movie. Learn about the rich history of the area as you cruise along the water.
• In the afternoon, enjoy a charming Carriage Tour of Beaufort, exploring antebellum sites and other movie locations, including those from The Big Chill.
• End the day with a Forrest Gump Farewell Dinner at a local distillery, where you'll have the chance to meet Forrest himself, the perfect conclusion to your adventure.

Day 5: Kazoo Factory and Oyster Farm Tour

• Enjoy a final breakfast before checking out of the hotel.
• Travel to Lucy Creek to see The Dock, Bubba's Mama's House, and site of Forrest's Mama's House.
• Return to Beaufort to visit the Kazoo Factory for a fun, hands-on experience and take home a custom kazoo as a souvenir.
• Next, explore Lady Island Oyster Farm and gain insight into the fascinating world of oyster farming.  A tasting is included!
• After your tour, depart for home, taking with you unforgettable memories of a Forrest Gump-themed journey.
