Day 1 - Welcome to Michigan!
  • Arrive in Grand Rapids, Michigan, in the afternoon and check into your hotel. Take some time to relax and unwind after your travels.
  • Enjoy a delicious group dinner at one of the downtown restaurants. Grand Rapids is known for its local cuisine and craft breweries, so there will be plenty of options to explore!
 
Day 2 - Grand Rapids and the Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park
  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel each morning.
  • Start the day with a visit to one of Michigan's most celebrated attractions, the Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park. Enjoy a guided tour of the magnificent gardens, seasonal blooms, indoor tropical conservatory, and impressive outdoor sculpture park.
  • Enjoy lunch at the Gardens Café where you can dine at within the gardens, offering fresh and locally sourced meals in a beautiful setting.
  • This afternoon head to the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum for an insightful look at the life and legacy of the 38th President of the United States, including exhibits on his childhood, time in office, and national events during his presidency.
  • Enjoy some free time to explore the vibrant Grand Rapids downtown area, featuring charming shops, galleries, and the Grand River Walk.
  • This evening, be delighted with dinner included at one of Grand Rapids' renowned breweries or restaurants, famous for local flavors and community spirit.
 
Day 3 - Welcome to Holland and the Tulip Time Festival
  • Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel this morning.
  • This morning, arrive in Holland and meet your Dutch-costumed step-on guide for a two-hour tour of the city's historic sites. Highlights include Holland’s historic areas, city parks, Hope College, Tulip Lanes, and views of the city’s iconic windmill and Downtown Holland.
  • Savor a Dutch-inspired lunch and dessert while watching the Dutch Dancers perform their traditional Klompen Dance. Marvel at their wooden shoes and authentic costumes, a lively display of local heritage.
  • Visit the stunning Tulip Immersion Garden, where Dutch horticulturalist Ibo Gulsen has created a display of 65,000+ tulips in a rainbow of colors and varieties. Capture photos of this magnificent garden at eye level, and if weather permits, head to Holland State Park afterward to stroll along the beach and see the famous Big Red lighthouse.
  • End the day with a relaxing dinner at one of Holland’s selected venues, followed by an entertaining evening performance featuring either local or national talent.
 
 
Day 4 - Holland Tulip Festival Activities
  • Fill up with breakfast at the hotel this morning before hitting the road!
  • Start your day exploring the famous Veldheer Tulip Gardens. Walk through rows of vibrant tulips, and visit DeKlomp to watch artisans craft traditional wooden shoes and hand-paint Delftware. A truly unique Dutch experience!
  • After lunch at a local restaurant, head to Windmill Island Gardens to see DeZwaan, an authentic Dutch windmill transported from the Netherlands. Take a tour, enjoy the colorful tulip fields, and explore the gardens’ charming shops.
  • Stroll through Downtown Holland’s inviting shops, galleries, and cafes. Find local souvenirs, Dutch-themed gifts, and unique art, and enjoy a coffee or treat before rejoining the group.
  • Celebrate the trip's final night with another dinner and show at a featured venue, capping off your Holland Tulip Festival experience with lively entertainment.
 
 
Day 5 - Morning Sightseeing and Departure
  • Enjoy an included breakfast at the hotel this morning prior to checking out.
  • For those who may have missed Windmill Island Gardens, return for a short morning visit. Enjoy the serene beauty of the grounds and capture final photos of the tulips and windmill.
