Sample Itinerary: Day 1 - Fremont Street, Main Street, The Mob Museum, & Vegas Foodie Tour
- Arrive in Las Vegas in the morning.
- Head off to Fremont Street. Downtown Vegas’ all day and night party! You will be greeted by 16.4 million brilliant pixels broadcasting intense imagery, enhanced by heart pounding rhythms from a state of the art 600,000-watt concert quality sound system. Fremont Street’s electric-filled atmosphere offers us good times with attractions, shows, free concerts and special events!
- Experience the delights of all-you-can-eat Garden Court Buffet at Main Street Station Casino Brewery & Hotel. Garden décor and nine action stations will tempt you with samples of American, Southern, Southwestern, Pacific Rim, Chinese and Mexican delicacies along with designer pizza, pasta, and even a rotisserie station. Of course, the dessert bar is a no-pass option.
- Take a quick look around Main Street. Main Street is one of Las Vegas' most brilliant treasures, overflowing with antiques, rarities and memorabilia, it houses a chandelier from Paris’ renowned Figaro Opera House, and shelters a section of the Berlin Wall. Now it is time to walk off that delicious lunch and make our way casually through the casino and explore Fremont Street.
- A short distance from Main Street Casino Brewery & Hotel you will climb the steps of Las Vegas’ former Courthouse and enter the critically acclaimed, unflinchingly unique, globally respected, and beloved by locals, The Mob Museum, the National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement. Designed to reveal an insider’s look at the events and characters of the continuing battle between the Mob and the law. - Tonight, you will be guided by an epicurean with a flair for local history and culture. This two-hour downtown foodie tour will uncover the less obvious side of Vegas, its foodie culture. - Enjoy breakfast at your hotel, check-out, and head out to Boulder City.
- Load onto the Hoover Dam Rafting Adventures You will wind down Black Canyon today on a narrated, smooth-water river raft postcard tour which launches from the base of the Hoover Dam, featuring geology, history, wildlife and a beach stop before returning to your shuttle.
- This afternoon, enjoy a special treat as you step back in time aboard a true historic treasure, an authentic Union Pacific dining car. Here we will dine while rumbling along the 3.5 miles of historic Boulder Branch Line. The view from its large windows provides you with some of the desert’s most intriguing views of the River Mountain Range. This round trip lasts approximately forty-five minutes.
- Disembark and enjoy some free time to explore exhibits before heading to downtown Boulder City.
- Explore Boulder City. The city’s uniqueness is reflected in its historical tree-lined streets sprinkled with whimsical art sculptures, and murals that depict its amazing past. Your guide will bring to life the characters and events that built the city and the Hoover Dam. Often referred to as Las Vegas’ Backyard Adventure, Boulder City pairs up an array of outdoor and water adventures with world-class golf, a world-class gun club, and skydiving facility along with 35 miles of hiking and biking trails, adventure tours, and museums.
- Take your seats for dinner and a show at Firelight Barn Dinner Theater. Look out, you are about to meet Mama’s Wranglers, a highly talented family with plenty of down-home charm and friendly high-spirited entertainment! Named “Young Entertainers of the Year” 3 times this home-grown family troupe plays an array of instruments, sings 4-part harmonies, and brings over the top energy to their song and dance routines!
- Check-in to Harrah’s Laughlin Beach Resort & Casino. It is the second largest property in Laughlin showcasing over 1,500 rooms and 55,000 square feet of casino space. Its mere size and amenities ensures this resort will meet your needs. Relax on its private soft sandy white beaches or by one of its two pools. Take a tour right from Harrah’s front doors or peruse the gift shops for hidden treasures. Want to see more? - Enjoy breakfast at your hotel prior to departing for Oatman, AZ.
- Arrive in Oatman and step back in time to experience a true wild west gold mining town. Oatman, AZ is nestled amongst some of Arizona’s most rugged and remote mountainous desert backdrops along Rte. 66. Home to wild burros that roam the streets, local actors who portray just how wild the 1900’s were all framed by a nice collection of souvenir, clothing, candy, jewelry, and leather shops. No wonder Oatman, AZ is a must-see when visiting Laughlin!
- Time for lunch and a chance to eat Burro Ears and other local favorites while listening to the mellow tunes of at the Oatman Hotel. Michael is also happy to unveil the details of how Oatman got its name, the particulars of its famous honeymoon couple, as well as the mysteries of how camels and wild burros first settled here.
- Return to your hotel to refresh.
- Take the Water taxi to the Aquarius dock to catch the Grand Celebration Cruise. Grab a seat. There just is not a bad one on the Grand Celebration. Relax and enjoy the breath-taking views of the river and its surrounding mountains and deserts. Listen to the history of Laughlin while enjoying a snack and custom libation from the bar. Life is good on the river!
- The cruise ends and your personal adventure in Laughlin Here are just a few suggestions: take in a game at a sports bar, game at the casino, play bingo, see a show, go bowling, enjoy a movie, take in a bit of shopping, play laser tag, go hiking, biking, or enjoying the Laughlin labyrinths. Watch or partake in some water sports, go fishing, rent a jet ski, or better yet just laze by the pool and enjoy the view! Then, dine over the river at Bubba Gumps, eat Trash Can Nachos at Guy Fiery’s, savor over Italian specialties at the River Rock Pizza & Pasta, or try out one of our gourmet restaurants like “The Range.”
- Grab breakfast at your hotel before departing for Spring Mountain Ranch State Park.
- Explore Spring Mountain Ranch State Park, which sits adjacent to the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. Its reputation holds tight as a sprawling and splendid historical working ranch that has also acted as a luxury retreat to a string of colorful owners including a German actress, Vera Krupp, and millionaire Howard Hughes. Today, discover some of the oldest buildings in Nevada including an 1860 blacksmith shop along with the Sandstone Cabin reported to have belonged to the ranch’s founding family.

- After dinner, enjoy free time to explore the Las Vegas Strip.
