  • Your local guide will meet you for a tour of Hyannis including the John F. Kennedy Memorial, the Korean War Memorial, Hyannisport, and a view of St. Francis Xavier Church, the summer parish of the Kennedy Family.
  • Enjoy dinner included this evening at local restaurant.
  • Check-in to your Cape Cod hotel.  (Meals: D)
Day 2 - Ferry Ride to Nantucket & Zion Union Heritage Museum
  • Enjoy breakfast included this morning at your hotel.
  • Your local guide will meet you at your hotel and will escort you to the Hy-Line Docks where you will board a ferry to the stunning island of Nantucket. Your escort will point out the restaurants, galleries, shops, and museums within walking distance to the dock. Admission is included on a Nantucket Island Tour.
  • Enjoy lunch on own and shop around the island.
  • Depart the island, arrive back on the mainland, and visit the Zion Union Heritage Museum. The Cape and Islands are the site of a rich history created by African Americans, Cape Verdeans, and other people of color who helped shape what Cape Cod is today.
  • Follow the history of the slave trade, the abolitionist movement, the whaling industry, as well as the cranberry industry.
  • Enjoy dinner included this evening at a local restaurant.
  • Return to your hotel for the night. (Meals: B, D)
Day 3 - Woods Hole, Martha's Vineyard, & Edgartown
  • Enjoy breakfast included this morning at your hotel.
  • Meet your local guide and travel to Woods Hole, home to the center of discovery of the HMS Titanic, the world renowned Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, and the National Headquarters of the International Wildlife Coalition.
  • Check-in for ticketing and boarding of passengers and coach on the Steamship Authority Ferry to the island of Martha's Vineyard.
  • Take a guided "Down Island" Tour featuring African American Heritage points of interest. You will learn about the history and lifestyles of the islanders as you pass through the picturesque villages.
  • There will be free time for lunch on own in the historic whaling town of Edgartown. Complete your day on the island in Oak Bluffs strolling through “Cottage City” with its brightly painted cottages and decorative “gingerbread” trim.
  • Depart the island and enjoy dinner on own at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel for the evening. (Meals: B)
Day 4 - Historic Route 6A, Sight Seeing, & Whale Watching
  • Breakfast is included this morning at your hotel before departing for a full-day excursion.
  • Meet your local guide at the hotel and travel historic Route 6A, the Old King’s Highway, a scenic byway winding through centuries of Cape Cod history. It winds past hundreds of historic structures which characterize its early development.
  • View a Windmill, a Cape Cod Lighthouse, and visit the Cape Cod National Seashore Visitor's Center. Sand dunes and the ocean surround you as you approach “Land’s End” – PROVINCETOWN.  You are now at the extreme tip of Cape Cod. Formerly known as the “Province Lands”, the pilgrims landed here first before they decided to settle across the Bay in Plymouth. Take some time to enjoy the wonderful variety of restaurants, shops, and galleries making this artists/fishermen village so unique.
  • Lunch is on own today while exploring.
  • Board an excursion vessel for an amazing Whale Watching experience. You will travel into the natural habitat of a diverse marine environment including birds migrating here from all over the Atlantic and fish which use these shallow waters to feed. Try to spot Humpback, Minke, and Fin Whales going about their daily business. An onboard naturalist will introduce you to everything you see and will answer any of your questions about the whales, birds, fish, and lighthouses.
  • Dinner is included this evening at a local favorite before retiring to the hotel for the night. (Meals: B, D)
