Day 1: 
  • Arrive in Philadelphia, PA, and get ready for the celebrations to begin!
  • Start your journey with a visit to Fort Mifflin, exploring its strategic Revolutionary War history while enjoying a riverside box lunch.
  • Check-in to your hotel before savoring a delicious Welcome Dinner at a local Philly favorite restaurant.
  • Conclude the evening relaxing back at your hotel.
 
Day 2: 
  • Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a guided tour of America’s Most Historic Mile. Highlights include Independence Hall, Carpenters' Hall, Christ Church, Christ Church Burial Grounds, and the Betsy Ross House.
  • After a lunch break, visit the Liberty Bell and be sure to have your cameras ready!
  • Afterwards, immerse yourself in the interactive exhibits at the National Constitution Center, bringing together people of all ages and perspectives, to learn about, debate, and celebrate the greatest vision of human freedom in history, the United States Constitution.
  • End the day with a celebratory dinner including special guest, Ben Franklin!
 
Day 3: 
  • After breakfast, journey to Washington Crossing Historic Park for a guided tour of this pivotal Revolutionary War site. Take a deep dive into the history of these 10 crucial days of the Revolutionary War.
  • Enjoy lunch included at the Washington Crossing Inn, followed by a visit to Pennsbury Manor to explore the legacy of William Penn and see the award-winning exhibit: “William Penn: Seed of a Nation”.
  • Return to your hotel for a free evening to dine and explore on your own in downtown Philadelphia.
 
 
Day 4: 
  • After breakfast, begin the day with a visit to Valley Forge National Historical Park, where you’ll walk the grounds of Washington’s encampment during the long winter of 1777-78. Today, the park extends over 3,500 acres of rolling hills and is home to 20 miles of trails.  Journey through history as you walk past Washington’s stone headquarters, renovated log huts, and countless monuments, including the United States National Memorial Arch..
  • Continue to Eastern State Penitentiary for a guided tour of this historic, haunting site, steeped in stories and tales your guide will be eager to share.
  • After lunch near the Museum of the American Revolution, delve into the compelling exhibits within. The popular museum explores the dramatic, surprising story of the American Revolution through its unmatched collection of Revolutionary-era weapons, personal items, documents, and works of art. Immersive galleries, powerful theater experiences, and interactive digital elements bring to life the diverse array of people who facilitated in the creation of a new nation despite the incredible odds against them.
  • This evening, a special Farewell Dinner is the perfect conclusion to your celebratory vacation!
   
 
Day 5: 
  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel this morning prior to checking out.
  • This morning, explore the Brandywine Battlefield. The Battle of Brandywine unfolded on Sept. 11, 1777, and holds the record as the largest, single-day land battle of the American Revolution. A Guide will navigate the area with your group and answer questions before you depart for home. (Note: Open Fridays and Saturdays only)
