Day 1 - First Ladies Exhibit, Sewall-Belmont House, "Wild Women of Georgetown" Walking Tour, & Georgetown Cupcakes
  • Arrive in our Nation’s Capital and visit the Smithsonian National Museum of American History where you’ll see the ‘First Ladies Exhibit’ to learn about the contributions of women who have occupied the White House as well as the ‘Transforming the American Table Exhibit’ where guests see Julia Childs’ kitchen and learn how she changed cooking and food culture in America.
  • Tour the Sewall-Belmont House Women’s Equality National Memorial, purchased by the National Women’s Party in 1929 to become the headquarters of their efforts to fight for women’s equality.
  • Visit Georgetown for a “Wild Women of Georgetown” Walking Tour highlighting some of the famous women who lived in Georgetown and The Wild Women who caused trouble there!
  • Enjoy supporting a women owned and operated business with a little pre-dinner Suffragist Cupcake dessert from the famous Georgetown Cupcakes!
  • Dinner this evening will be at a favorite local District hot spot.
  • Check in to your local hotel for the evening.
Day 2 - Women in Military Service, Penn Quarter, Clara Barton's Missing Soldiers Museum, DAR Museum, & National Museum of Women in the Arts
  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel this morning.
  • Honor women who have served in our armed forces at the only memorial of its kind, the Women in Military Service to America Memorial, located within Arlington National Cemetery.
  • Stop for lunch on own in Penn Quarter.
  • Learn about the Angel of the Battlefield, Clara Barton, with a tour of Clara Barton’s Missing Soldiers Office and Museum, her original headquarters where she helped families locate loved ones missing from the war.
  • Stop at The Daughters of the American Revolution Museum highlighting the work of women during the American Revolution.
  • Tour the National Museum of Women in the Arts. Women remain dramatically under-represented in museums, galleries, and auction houses, and the NMWA aims to change this by exclusively recognizing the contributions of American Women.
  • Tonight, celebrate with a Farewell Dinner at a very popular restaurant boasting one of the most impressive female chefs in the area!
Day 3 - United States Army Museum, Workhouse Prison, Farewell Lunch, & Depart for Home
  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel this morning prior to checking out.
  • Tour the United States Army Museum.
  • Visit Workhouse Prison and learn of the Suffragist battles of the women of Washington followed by a Farewell Murder Mystery Luncheon featuring scandalous women while we sleuth for the truth!
